"Some people said this day would never come. And, quite honestly, it is a miracle. But Liberation Music have always had faith that their quasi New Zealand rock band Deja Voodoo would bring us many great things and they haven't let us down with 'Brown Sabbath'. We can guarantee you won't hear anything else quite like it!!
Deja Voodoo first appeared as the fictional band on the shit New Zealand show 'Back of the Y Masterpiece Television'. A lot has changed since then. They have evolved from the worst band in Auckland into a precision four-piece rock unit. They have played 120 gigs, toured the country three times and laid down a string of classic rock tunes that will be remembered in the hearts of New Zealanders for years to come. They have kicked Retarded South Island Mechanic 'Spanners Watson' off the drums and replaced him with someone who could actually play. Dutch Graham, a man well known to BOTY fans as 'Ray Smoodiver, Porn Detective' was charged with providing the solid & steady foundation that a whole
new Deja Voodoo sound would be built upon.
But the Voodoo wasn't complete yet. They set out on a quest to find the greatest lead guitarist in the world. Hours later they gave up hope and settled on Stapp's deadbeat flatmate Gerald. He was dubbed 'Skullbucket' and presented with a gleaming white guitar known as 'Tusk'. The legend was complete. Here at last they stood, four wild-eyed rock missionaries on the edge of glory or oblivion. Probably oblivion.
