The Holidays
Moonlight Hours
Moonlight Hours is the first single taken from The Holidays debut album, Post Paradise. It sets the mood for the groove-based record full of summer vibes, elec-tropical dance floor anthems and mellow, breezy melodies.
Following the decision to self-produce their record, The Holidays took time off from their live show in order to create the sounds and noises they believed would define a new sonic path. After embracing the imagery of the bands namesake and many days locked away in a small Sydney home studio, Moonlight Hours is one of many new songs soon to be heard from The Holidays over the hot summer months. A song to dance to in the open air, surrounded by friends, in a place far away, it marks a new direction for the band however it still retains the band's signature playfulness and sense of melody. Mixed by Australia's own Tony Espie (The Avalanches, Cut Copy, Mercy Arms) with additional engineering from Burke Reid (Gerling, The Drones, The Mess Hall) Moonlight Hours signals the return of The Holidays, with intent to lure you into their groove.
