As a fitting finale to what has been a huge year for Troy and the 'I Love This Place' album, he performed one special concert which was held at The York Theatre, Sydney on Wednesday June 23rd. This unique performance was filmed and recorded for Troy's first and very much anticipated live DVD and 2CD release on October 29.

The concert itself features 'Born To Survive', Big Big Love', 'Everything's Going To Be Alright', 'Sing About This Country', 'River Boy', 'Trains' plus two brand new tracks in 'Yesterday's Bed' and 'Brighter Day' and a sensational cover of the Curtis Mayfield classic 'People Get Ready'. The DVD includes two bonus features - 'Backstage Pass', an exclusive behind the scenes tour conducted by Troy prior to the concert and 'Mandos & Jackhammers', an insightful look at Troy with his mandolin as he warms up for the big night.

Troy has been in America since July 16th, arriving in NYC to perform with Tommy Emmanuel for two dates at the BB King Blues Bar, a venue that holds an intimate crowd of 800. Both shows were sold out as was the entire 9 date run that took them across the West Coast including Connecticut, Boston, Massachusetts, Washington DC, Harrisburg PA, North Carolina and Alabama. Troy had a ball on the run and loved the audiences every night...

Troy also had a few days on the road with Keith Urban in Vermont and Connecticut. Keith had a couple of State Fairs and invited Troy to join him on stage for a song ... and he stayed to play acoustic for the next... 60,000 people and Troy had a ball.
